Yeah that is really memorable and rolls off the tongue .
The best name change acronym was when BMW opened their new plant here in South Carolina.
Bavarian Motor Works become Bubba Making Wheels
I'm sure it sounds much better when uttered with a French accent.
Stellantis Rebates. ???
It's not a bad name. And it's not like the average consumer will ever see the name in anything but fine print.
Idk guys, but this won't leave my head every time I see the name..
Thinking about it, they should have just called it Mopar Corporation. You hardly get lucky twice having such a cool logo and name. History included. But maybe that wasn’t international enough.
The first vehicle from the new merger will be “A Crossover Called... Desire.”
It's just the name of the holding company, like who knows the owners of Google? No one will care what the entity is called, just how the product is advertised. Has anyone noticed that many old brand name are being revived lately, except the old brands are owned by new people.....Black and Decker, Electrolux, Frigidaire, Kenmore, Amana...Does anyone actually care, other than us stupid old loyalists who remember when a brand stood for something unique, or special. They could have called it the Generic/Interchangeable/ForeverFlexible and no one would even comment, most likely.
Chrysler is an european surname, it should be an anglicized version of germanic Kreisler.
Most people would not know what Alphabet Inc. is... even if most use its services everyday.
I don't love it, but I don't hate it. It is what it is. I just want them to keep creating and building the cars that I love.
The vast majority of people won't even know this name exists or what it is. Just like the RAM brand. I think it's a stupid name but it could suck worse. It could still be DumblerChrysler. It would have been nice if someone would have been smart enough to spin off the Chrysler Group like they did with Ferrari so we could leave all of these useless European brands behind once and for all.
Hey it could have been:
COVID - Chrysler Opel Vauxhall International Dodge
I was hoping it could be called Alliance Motor Company, then those AMC logos could be used again...
It's official, I love you guys,.... Haha, these comments are the best. @DC-93 , you have a prize coming to your house, you just won the internet, haha.
Disclaimer: You do NOT have a prize coming to your house. You do not actually WIN anything, when you win the Internet. Exclusions may apply, see dealer for details.
Stellantis Litigator, the new electric utility vehicle.
I like FLAVOR. They could get Flavor Flav as a spokesperson.
