This is about EU (or international) versions. In EU Miata has a choice between 1.5 130hp and 2.0 160hp. Fiat has 140hp and Abarth 170hp. I woder what will be be the Abarth version in US.

Everything in that car is MAzda save for a few 124-specific graphics and interior treatments. I'll have to try 124 once it hits showrooms. I already love the new Miata and I could only imagine what additional power can do to it. I hope they keep the turbo lag in check for the 124... the last cars I drove wit the 1.4T multiair were quite laggy.

Sounds like a Lancia Delta my old man says.

He is over the moon, because here is the 124 R-GT driven by Alex Fiorio, who, he tells me, is the best Lancia rally driver ever. hmmmm.

Please inform your old man, that though I am sure he is knowledgeable, in this matter he is in fact incorrect. That is because Sandro Munari is the best Lancia Rally Driver ever. If he disagrees with me, then tell him, pistols, in the morning, on the eighth bell.

Man, if they could make an Abarth 124, with that kind of power, it'd be the baby Viper for which RG has been pining. It would be an absolute rip snorting good time.

    Can you say, power slide?

He says, Lancia knowledge, in the US, is in terrible short supply and therefor he could not possibly shoot you.
He respects your choice of Munari, as Munari is number 2 on his list as well.

I'll forgive him for putting Munari as his number two. I have been a Lancia fan, ever since I was eight years old; Rally coverage on US TV is rare, and I saw the Alitalia Stratos ripping it up in the Safari Rally, I believe. I was hooked instantly. I have been a Lancia rally enthusiast ever since. I wish somebody would restart the rally tradition at Lancia

I can't speak for the US regulations, but everywhere else in the world, it will be road-legal; all rally cars are, once you put road-legal tires on them.

The prohibitive cost of insurance and maintenance would stop you using it as a daily-driver though.

In the US, it would depend on what all was removed. Likely, you'd have to put back all of the safety systems, and the emissions controls.

Me think Fiat will no longer be in N.A. before we get an opportunity to see that unfortunately.

Ripping around in a Lancia Stratos in Dirt Rally is an absolute blast... I would love to see them bring over the 124 to the game.

Fiat/Lancia is decently represented in the game:

    Lancia Fulvia HF
    Fiat 131 Abarth
    Lancia Stratos
    Lancia Delta S4
    Lancia 037
    Lancia Delta HF Integrale

Moose test and slalom made by km77.com (Spain)
Maximum moose test speed 81 km/h. In the video they say that the Mazda MX5 maximum speed was 75 km/h (in the second video). The tested Mazda had the luxury package option with Bilstein shock absorbers.
