Isn't that type of racing for electric powered vehicles?

FCA could enter their electric Fiat :D.

The few interesting things about actual Formula E is they opened development of electric powertrain (but with limitation to peak power and battery).

FCA is actually in Formula E with Magneti Marelli that is sourcing Mahindra with motor generator, inverters and, if am not wrong, control unit.

This is the 6-phase motor generator, in Formula E peak power is 200 kW, but it is designed to up to 300 kW (about 400 HP). Weight 23 kg.
    Coupled are 2 3-phase 150 kW inverters.

    Yes Magnetti is involved.

The cars still sound terrible and the racing is boring.

They're all electric. They could hang speakers out the back and play racing engine sounds ;).

See look at that the plan is already worked no out great. I'm sure someone would like to use the crazy frog song from the commercials 10 or so years ago

I was watching the Montreal race and it was stated by the announcers that FCA was possibly entering with Alfa or Maserati. I didn't mind the racing cause they mixed it up a raced close in the corners but the cars themselves looked really bad, I thought it looked like fancy electric go kart racing, their was no way for you to tell one brand from another. The in car camera picked up the electric motor sounds and they sounded unique. Now if they could put the actual electric cars the manufacturers made on the track that would be cool.

This is the most fantastic idea I have heard yet for this series!!!

Can we include a la cucaracha food truck horn too for when they pass each other?

I love the idea, Mike!!! Unfortunately, as you know, someone would claim "La Cucuracha" is offensive.

I grew up seeing the “roach coach” food trucks going around to different places. I don’t find it offensive.

Some of them had great food!
