    hi all thank you for adding me . I need some help if possible I have a flat head 6 I need to know valve clearance settings and head tightening torque and sequence, if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Welcome to Allpar. Chrysler's flathead 6 didn't change all that much over the decades. There were displacement changes and some improvements along the way.
    You would be well-served by obtaining the specific shop manual for your year and model. Some information is on the internet. Joining a club, like WPC is helpful for parts, ownership advice and fellowship.
    The 1955 manual engine section is Chapter 12 beginning on p. 181 here. The Powerflow 6 is a "typical" 230 cu. inch (3.77L):

    The head bolt torquing sequence is shown in figure 3 (p. 183). Basically from the center fastener, outwards in gradual increments.
    Valve tappet adjustment procedures and specs are on p. 209-210.
