Interesting to say the least. Some would suggest another 'problem' would be the wheels! Lots of similarities with my own '69, including the trim around side windows and between doors and the piece (devoid of word Plymouth) at base of trunk. BUT, no call-outs, rocker trim or wheel mouldings. Now, how does the asking price convert to U.S. $ ?

    I believe it's about R8 to $1 US.

Yeah but I've moved on. to 1968 Valiants :)
Would be neat, but I'd have to go back to a Mopar engine if I had it.

That is a nice looking ride. Too bad they didn't put a Mopar drive train in it though. I saw a slick 48 Plymouth two weeks ago and they ruined it by putting a 350 and a 700R4 in it.

318LAs and their relative weren't sold in South Africa; just 225 Slant Sixes and 383's. Admittedly fitting a 383 to a RHD Mopar A body (steering gear is out of the way plus the oil filter clears nicely) is actually easier than doing the same with a small block but still. :)

    It's a global world but shipping a 318... I can't imagine the cost.
