So in other words it didn't sell well in the us, by the end of it's life
Or, they stopped making many, didn't market it at all (as compared to the Scat Pack and SRT Charger & Challenger), and let it die....
Or, it actually didn't sell great in the states. It's peak was 11k sales (was a long model year) in 2006 and it's lowest pre 2015 was 509. With the refreshed body it at most sold 2.9k. In perspective the peak for the the last "gen" body of the charger was 3.6k, low of all years was 878 which was the oldest gen charger.
Every year with the current 300 body was a steady drop in sales while the chargers are pretty consistent up to 2017 (that's with the hellcat not being included in the srt totals)
Yep, but remember - they never gave the 300 the Laguna leather interior. They also priced it $2k MORE than the Charger SRT, and they didn't advertise it at all whereas they ran ads for all of the Charger/Challenger models as part of Dodge's performance image campaign. It's actually amazing that the results were as good as they were for it considering.
I'm not advocating that they bring it back for the current generation 300....
Appears you need to order a 300 to get a Hemi. No dealers around me had one Hemi 300 in stock. They don’t like to order them for stock. Hence I ended up with a boy-racer R/T for my last lease.
Using the Chrysler website, there are 42 new 300's within 150 miles of me. Only 2 of those have the Hemi, and they both sticker at $49k.

And the 300 RHD is the ONLY vehicle showing on Chrysler Australia's page (300C and 300 SRT). Nuts!
I wonder what the SRT sells for in Australia.
