Disagree. There are bodylines and shapes in those vehicles that at least show that lineage, but I'll give you the little Cherokee. But it was successful because it was different. I don't think this is different enough.. or styled like a 100k vehicle, if I'm honest. Lighting effects aside, it's off a bit.

It's an expectation that shouldn't have been utterly ignored though. The people that spent 20-30k on an old Wagoneer (or over 100k for the hellwagon) would be the same people that would've bought this if it only had a bit more Wagoneer in the design.

My main issue with it is it's too low to the ground. It would work great as a Chrysler or Ram SUV, but it needs to have more ground clearance to look rugged enough to be an actual Jeep.

Which is why I'm out as soon as the Compass lease expires. That Jeep is asking Lexus and Audi prices for the likes of moderately equipped Renegade and Compass is preposterous. I won't have left Jeep, Jeep has left me.

To be fair, it was on 24" wheels and we don't know what settings it was on. ( Controls suggest air)

I'd even go a bit deeper, still; right down to where the mid cooling intake is and flip that intake line upside down incorporating it into a double stacked headlight assembly. Presence!!!

When people on internet forums complained about the Charger being a sedan, Chrysler made the Challenger.

For copyright reasons I won't include a picture of Donald Duck. But whenever I see a Tesla 3 approaching from the front I see the face of Donald Duck... :)

Turns out it's just to show/hide the screen. Gilles confirmed no such design to roll down the tailgate. It was a BS reason, if you ask me, since toyota still does it in their less-expensive SUVs too.. its one of the reasons I feel like it was design by committee. I think the roll down window or a clamshell tailgate would be more appreciated than a giant melt-your-head sunroof of doom. lol
