In the current FCA WK2 platform, there isn't much share with the Benz vehicles.
Don't tell the magazine writers, who say it's an ML clone underneath!
They still parrot that to this day. True unbiased objective journalism is rare. It takes effort and hard work to report the actual truth. FCA doesn't seem to ever get the benefit of the doubt. If FCA does something well, it must be the result of something other than FCA, lol.
The 12+ Jeep srt...and even.more so the 14+ is nothing like the 2006-2010. The chassis to start with is infinitely better...not to mention quality across the board.
Here's my 2014
My Durango had virtually identical (visually) rear suspension to my neighbors GL (or was it ML) Merc.
Any update on this??
Was slated to be at nyias 2017. That's seems to now have changed. Not sure when it will be unveiled now....
But I did get some info on refreshes etc for the grand cherokee. It's will be 2021-22 before we see a complete redo on the G platform....the WG Grand Cherokee. 2019 will get another refresh of the wk2...possibly be the wk3 or WL. May get the 2.0 hurricane as a base engine...keeping the Hemi, Pentastar 3.6, 6.4 hemi and 6.2 hemi.
The trackhawk is still coming..we just won't see it in april at nyias
So refresh in 2019 for the 2020 model year?
Redesign in 2021 for the 2022 model year?
(A year behind the Lx cars?)
2019 my refresh and .2022 my for complete redo on the G platform...or WG
What's everyone's thoughts if the jeep trackhawk is only 595 hp?
No problem at all. It raises the bar for SUV's.
Sorry I misunderstood the source....the hp is not in the 5's...
But what's everyone's thoughts on the trackhawk if it's not 707 hp?
That's always been a possibility and I don't think it would surprise many people.
