Torque wise it matches this engine...
The 3.2L Power Stroke I-5 engine in the Ford Transit puts out 185 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque,
See poll range above
That's the 3.2L
What makes you think its that engine?
No 368 option..?
Did a google image search with the picture you posted (which now has Allpar watermarks) and it took me to a page with the ford transit and they used that same picture with the description of horsepower and torque.
I did the same thing and it is not the engine from a Ford Transit. The watermarks and filter are to prevent other people from doing the same thing I did.
Tried to cheat... it didn’t work
Don’t spill the beans
So, since I know what engine that is let's say 295 lb-ft. Will it be at 1400 RPM's? The good news is we can expect more than that engine's 174 h.p.
Sooo according to a torque calculator if it's 268 HP at 6k RPMs, that'd be ~235 ft-lbs, right?
If they have 268 as low as 4k, it'd be 352...
I'm going to say it'll be a nice flat line around 310 peak torques.
You could be right, but you could be wrong
Sorry...can't resist (I grew up during the beginning of MTV )
I think with my votes, its more of what I would like them to be more so than what I think they will actually be. Since I have no idea what's planned...I went from the heart. (I'm sure I will get shot down faster than a 16 year old nerd looking for a prom date, but hey what've I got to lose amiright? lol)
That's the 3.0L EcoDiesel in the ProMaster that makes 295 ft-lb.
...and 295 ft.lb (400 Nm) is what Alfa's 2.0 turbo produces. Here's the Alfa's hp/torque curve (metric units) :
