292 HP and 295 pounds of twist?
280, 282, 284 and 292-297?
That's all I have
Believe the torque will be above 300 with the hp being in the 260s
If I made another guess, that would have been it, too.
This thread has been the best meme generator Allpar has had in a long time.
You must be LOVING this!
294-H.P. and 305-torque. I LOVE this! And, in any case, this is going to be one more powerful engine!!
Just a bit... but your numbers are wrong.
268 and 315
I think the answer has already been given in the form of not giving a direct answer.
268 hp and 295 tq
I'm curious, what is the weight difference between the 3.2 and the Hurricane turbo? Is it approximately the same or is there a significant difference that could affect the performance of, say the 2019 Cherokee? I would imagine that the HP and Torque are similar.
Hp similar, Hurricane torque is much better.
I didn't want to guess because I felt it would have been unfair, after I was shot down enough times I narrowed it down enough, and that was literally going to be my next guess.
I just wanted someone else to have it
Think about it this way. 268 is the power number. It was all but literally confirmed when I was told one of my numbers was way off, and I saw way off for other people guessing torque around that number (310).
I also saw a post saying HP was even and torque was odd. So that was my reason for my guess right before the 268/295, when I went to the opposite end (the low end) of the hint, and said 268 HP, 277 ft-lbs, that's my final guess.
My other guess would have been 295 because if it was 297 I really think they would have rounded up to 300, but 295 is still "Far enough" away to not say 300.
Nobody is really taking the time to figure out which engine is in the first post. That gives away the torque number.
That hint helps. I know the answer! Is it OK to share it?
Some people have already figured out the torque in the other thread.
And to close things here, 295lb-ft is the winner.
