Is Sting-Gray the same as Destroyer/Ceramic Gray? Because that would look absolutely fantastic on a Wrangler.

Edit: If Sting-Gray is the same as Destroyer Gray, should look like this...

You forgot about the Switchback LOL. I love how JL details were spread across the Easter Safari concepts.

I got a chuckle out of this months JP magazine when they said those doors on the Switchback were highly unlikely to come to market. Oops!:D

Don't assume that the v6 and i6 were for the same vehicles/brands...
In the leaked owners manual it calls for removing the wiper blades to drop the windshield, so 6 fasteners total to remove.

Haha, yeah I saw that one (I was too lazy to add it in though lol). We could also say that it foreshadows half-doors too (half-doors with windows like on the concept would be insane!).

You mean like on the red Rubicon they showed? lol
Apparently that red is really bad on the lenses though. Too hard to see details.

GAH! Bet me to it before I could fix my post!

I just saw that those were the half-doors and what I just said was complete nonsense. Moron status: Achieved lol. Guess I was so excited that I missed the fact that the rest of the door frame wasn't even there. My bad haha.

Hey... am I hearing right that EcoDiesel power is for Unlimited models only?

According to all of the towing documents released... it's only on cab "74" which is the Unlimited... so yes.

    ...

    Why?

A diesel 2 door Jeep Wrangler screams to all of the die-hard enthusiasts.

What makes the BUX version able to tow 5500lbs? I'm assuming it's not the 4cyl diesel over the 6.

@redriderbob we must have been walking all over each other at the reveal. I was behind Ralph and Mark.

As for the opening in the door a believe Allpar had some sketches supplied about 3 years ago. It was shown at the dealer show that year. I was very pleasantly surprised to see them make it. Talking with Mark he explained how they were able to pass crash testing and because there are no windows there it's dead usable space. Love the feature and does remind me of my old CJ-5 soft doors back in the day. I think it's a very cool way to increase sales of a product that some thought would not carry over. It will be available for both the 2dr and 4dr but could not get any confirmation regarding the JT. If it is available I'm afraid I'm gonna have to spring for the extra set of doors. They are that cool.
I also complemented Mark on the side vent. I had noted my fear of the functional vents and needed to see them in person. After being all over these Jeeps for most of yesterday I realized at the end that never did my eye get pulled to it. Told him "well done".

My guess about the 2 door diesel issue- it's probably too small to fit the SCR cat and the def tank. I know the short cab short bed 1500's also don't come in diesel. But who knows.

I wouldn't worry too much about the 3.0L right now. Mike Manley said yesterday that it won't show up until 2019
