    It's getting real!
Scheduled a meeting with one of the top 20 dealers. Looking to get one of the first.

Wow, a full-time 4WD option. I had talked with Bob S and Norm about switching out the transfer case on my Liberty for a full-time case (242). Norm had mentioned he would've loved to have had one for his JKU. Kinda cool.

Probably for markets outside NAFTA, there will be Wrangler JL with 2.2 diesel engine (N-S version) about 200 HP maximum power output.

Hopefully it is not just the SelecTrac badge adhered to an electronic ABS-activated AWD!

If it really is what we think it is, it could be a game changer for Wrangler. I know many buyers who opted for something else because they couldn't/weren't willing to figure out how/when to pull the 4WD lever.

Looks like Jeep will be positioning Sahara at the Mall Crawlers by offering it only in 4-doors and full-time 4WD.

I had SelecTrac in both my prior Grand Cherokees. It is an amazing system.

"Nacho" shows code PY5... The same as Dozer, hope that is accurate!

I can already hear a Sahara 3.0 EcoDiesel with SelecTrac calling my name...

Would they offer two yellows at the same time? Acid Yellow and Dozer? They normally offer one yellow and one green.

Maybe that "PY5" color is after the nacho has already been digested...

Dozer is more orange than yellow if I recall correctly.

I love the idea of a steel bumper group and can't wait to see what the trail management system is.

I agree 100% that Dozer was Orange IMO.

Ugh, I don't want to choose between a manual and a diesel, still don't know which I'd rather have.

I owned a 2012 Dozer: it looked pretty yellow to me.

And Jeep didn't offer another yellow that year. Instead, it added Orange Crush halfway through the year, which was a true orange color.

a few things that caught my eye:

    285 / 70 / 17 offroad tires - biggest ever offered on a factory wrangler?

Also whats with the 'low back buckets' ?

If you take it offroad, automatic is the way to go.

All my first Wranglers were manual...until I got a 2014 automatic. The manual is more fun on road, but the automatic is 100 times easier to navigate on the trails.

    I think so.

JK Rubicon tire is 32.1" x 10.0". JL tire size would be 32.7" x 11.2". That's a huge increase in size, footprint and unsprung weight.

Jeep must have increased engine power and efficiency, beefed up the suspension, and strengthened axles sufficiently to handle much larger, wider and heavier tires. Hopefully, it worked to improve the ride, too.

I know autos are better on the trail, but I just like driving manuals. I also wonder how much better the auto fuel economy will be. That might sway me, I just don't know yet.

Haven't felt this excited about a Chrysler reveal in at least ten years.
