My 2000 Caravan hit 200k yesterday!! I signed up for the frame today. Does it usually take a couple of months to receive it? Thanks.

Figure 3-4 weeks. Just got my frame for my Stratus today.

Apparently they round up. I have 182009 miles - so they sent me a 200000-mile frame.

I hope they didn't jinx you. I have 277,500 miles and they sent me the 200,000 mile frame. Gives me something to shoot for though.

I would be lying if I said I haven't been searching for a replacement lately. Although it looks like I can get new LCA/ball joints and struts all around for under $500...

That would be considerably less expensive than replacing the entire car... although if you did, you need only change your handle to Statuscaster...

My wife's got a 2006 Sebring convertible at 193,000 miles; think that will get a 200,000 one yet?

If you are the 1st or 2nd owner, perhaps. It's worth 5 minutes of your time, isn't it?

Parts is one thing - labor is another. But yes, I rather enjoy not having car payments.

Just got my 200,000 mile frame a couple of days ago. I am really surprised at the quality of the thing. It is hand cast in a sand mold, so they are essentially one of a kind items. They are Pewterex, and are from a company called Olde Country Reproductions in York, PA. I am really pleased to see they went the extra mile here since most people would be expecting a plastic or stamped frame, especially for free. License plate frames from this company, of the same construction, cost $22 from their web site. The web site is:

My TJ hit 160,000 KM recently, and still going strong. Has a bit of a coolant leak, and a worn rear main seal, but nothing some quality time with it won't fix.

Funny, I just happened to be in Florida this weekend and put my 200,000 mile frame on my car. Bonus: The reverse lights started working again!

Maybe there is more to these frames than just good quality.

Actually, I did that unintentionally. Guess I'm just a natural born comedian! :)

    Norm,

Thanks but I can't claim very extensive research beyond reading the insert that came with the frame and poking around the web site listed. Appreciate it though!

I guess they are now seeing that there is alot of diehard Chrysler product fans out there, People that really take pride in their cars. Away to thank the owners for keeping them so long. rewarding their owners in anyway shape or form says alot....

My 2004 Ram is approching the 100,000 mile mark. currently stands at 94,875.

Almost like they stumbled upon a gigantic website devoted to Chrysler and its vehicles filled with members who love their cars.

That car was a beast all weekend. It drove like a dream.

Its not a bad looking frame! Like Doug said, they're pretty darn beefy. My cousin said the same thing. Its not a cheap plate frame. While I was down in Florida this week I had two people stop me in parking lots and ask me about it. So I'd say its working!
