Being transported from Saskatchewan to Ontario..Will post pics when I get it.
Post pics for sure.
You gonna restore it?
I love the old DeSotos. I can't wait to see yours.
First time I bought a car without seeing it first.Supposed to be in very good condition..I will know on Saturday.
Cool! Can't wait to see pictures.
Well its not as nice as the pictures, surprise, surprise. It wasn't transported in a covered trailer and it rained the whole way.It wouldn't run and the inside is totally soaked.pulled the front seat and the carpet, floor looks good.I will post pics but I always have trouble posting as the files are always to large.
Car is in nice condition.More work than I planned on.
I like the body style, including the suicide doors, and the engine looks simple. One of your investments might be weather-stripping. Did that model come with an air filter?
But it does have an exchangeable cartidge type oil filter. Nice car.
Oh ya.lots of new weather stripping.I had taken the air filter off to troubleshoot why it wasn't running.Purring like kitten now.
got in to the Desoto.i will need to do some floor repairs, but not that bad.done lots of this stuff.pic for anyone who wants a look.
Only one windshield wiper. Vacuum operated? ------ Fits all type emergency brake? Priceless.
Absolutely a gorgeous car. Color me envious!
Very nice car!!
Looks like a nice project to me... Hope you enjoy it.... My pops had one only in the color Silver... Nice ridding car for sure.
Finished up the supporting floor structure.solid as a rock.i have a new top floor section coming from the Plymouth Doctor in Michigan.
That car had a RHD option judging by the block off plate on the passenger side of the bellhousing
Very possible. Not sure if it was available in 1937?
