I have notice this style from europe. They call ir a suv but to me it looks like a tall sedan. The sloping roof line may look good but as far as utility that a suv is supposed to give its useless.

Ugly on the inside. Ugly on the outside. You'd think they would have put a rear bumper on a car that's so expensive. And if you thought it was hard to get into the back seat of a '200' ---------?

    Ummmmmmm, yuppie koolaid .

This is built on the same Volkswagen MLB architecture that's shared with VW Toureg, Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga. For Lamborghini, they've shed some weight through the use of Carbon-fibre reinforced plastic sheet (CFRP) for body panels.

The interior design is brutalist and over-ornamented (i.e., perfectly in keeping with Lamborghini's design language), but the execution and materials look good. But then, they'd need to for $200,000.

It's basically an Audi with more square design.

The interior seems overstyled to me. Over play on the hexagonal theme and lacks flair. I think it will date fast.

All Audis are FWD based and it does not affect their performance image.

It does because vast majority around the world are still FWD and are nose heavy. I mean. FWD Opel Insignia is faster around track than FWD Audi A4. That explains a lot.

VAG has RWD platform, a modular RWD platform. It's called MSB. So they could built this car on it.

Bacl to FWD. From sideline proportions are just not there.

Despite their best efforts to encourage customers to try before buying, my local Audi dealership still sells around 10% of its cars without the buyer having taken a test-drive. Remember that these cars are sold to order, not off a lot, so it's not a matter of taking it back the next day if you don't like it. These are people who actively refuse to drive the car before placing an order.

What I'm getting at is that maybe it's different in the States, but Audi doesn't really have a performance image. The brand's customers want luxury, high-quality of fit and finish, and really couldn't care less which two wheels are driven so long as they can't hear or feel them. If you want a car that matches your higher income bracket, but have little to no interest in the act of driving, Audi is there for you.

I agree. Ausi doesn't have a performance imagine till you get to the rs series which is stupid expensive or the r8. Even the s-line isn't performance. Most people get the a3 due to it being the cheapest audi but the sell a ton of the awd a/s4 for the northern climates.

Wow, there is literally nothing exciting or exceptional about that thing. It looks like the same people styled it as did the Toyota CHR.

IT's almost like the folks at Lambo worked hard at producing a vehicle that showed how much they really hate having to make an SUV.

The sad thing about it though is that it's likely to sell sh**loads and make millions of $$$s
