Larry Rathgeb - RIP

    Just read on another site that Larry Rathgeb died Sunday from the Coronavirus. He was a staple of Chrysler's oval track racing from the early 1960s till 1978, when the company quit their racing programs. He helped to develop the winged cars and also the Kit cars. He retired from Chrysler in 1987 and later consulted on the Viper program.

    Larry also worked with the Pettys, trying to help them get that Pontiac competitive.
    He wasn't a miracle worker.

    Maybe deep down he was trying to demonstrate that a Pontiac was a slug ;).
