My Avenger recall was for an airbag that doesn't go off. It only took 18 months for the parts to arrive at the dealer.

Update- Got my Charger back. They did the timing chain and BOTH airbags! No attempt to upsell, even with the vehicle inspection.

My 2004 300M had TPMS with an indication for each tire's tire pressure. My 2004 and 2004 Durangos has no TPMS at all...

    My mom's 2013 Dart doesn't have uConnect...

Still waiting for mine and for my grandmother's '12 200...

Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep ended to offer individual tire display as a part of an option group and on higher trim levels.
The base vehicles just got a warning light.

See, this makes little sense considering economy of scale. A feature like this across the full line will cost less that have 2 or 3 different systems. GM learned this- to the point of having the same exact steering wheel in a $14k Cruze and a $80K Corvette- The Corvette guys did notice....

To me, Chrysler has always been the company that made the niche models like the Demon, Viper, Prowler, etc- stuff that other companies didn't have the efficient management to do. Management seems to be stifling the creativity, not encouraging it.

    New co-worker has a Fiat 500.
Fiat dealerships are apparently as bad as the worst CDRJ dealers.
Reflashed the computer to get rid of a code that was popping up.
    Didn't replace the part.
Didn't test drive the vehicle to make sure the code was gone.
Code came back as they were driving it home.
Dealer says they followed the guidelines for warranty work.
They are now getting the part to replace it.

With so many customers lining up, Fiat studios are so busy that they didn’t have time to do it properly.

It's Christmas not April Fools. :D

The problem with my co-workers Fiat experience is how would any of the other FCA brands expect him and his wife to look at their offerings after having to deal with their 500?
Why look to replace his Silverado with a Ram if he is worried that the service department might be as bad?
Or get rid of the Tahoe they have as a spare with a Durango, or upcoming Wagoneer?

They may not be in the same showrooms but people aren't dummies.

In Europe, they see the Punto failing crash testing miserably and apply that to all Fiats, Jeeps and Alfas. They do not know (or care) that it is an old and non-updated vehicle. They hear Fiat failed crash test and will avoid one (and anything affiliated with Fiat) when they go shopping.

These are the short-sighted consequences created by this executive management in their single quest for Net Debt Zero and nothing else.

Yup. Or Fiat’s own darling, Alfa Romeo.

This is the point I’ve been making for months: the lingering Fiat USA debacle is an ongoing embarrassment that puts a black eye on FCA’s reputation. And the longer FCA waits to resolve it, the more permanent the damage.

PS: again, Marchionne had no trouble ditching Dart and 200 in record time when they wrecked his perfectly laid out manufacturing cost sheets. But he seems totally blind to the costs of keeping the ongoing Fiat USA fiasco unresolved.

I recall when the 1976 Corvette was equipped with the same steering wheel as the Vega. I do not recall when a $80K Corvette had the same steering wheel as a $14K Cruze. Can you provide more details? Thank you.
