Entertainment news site justjared.com posted what appear to be Wolverine 3 spy shots. The movie is due next year. The lead character is driving what looks like a heavily modified Chrysler 300, with a 1970s-style Chrysler script logo. The tail-lights appear to be a mix of the current 300C and Cadillac styling; and overall, the image appears to have been highly retouched though the car is not the subject (note the rear tire and the tail-light angles). As for the car […]

My first thought when I clicked this thread was that Sergio had farmed out production of future 300s to Marvel ;).

it would be neat if the next 300, on LX, would be a longer wheelbase 300 (not by much) with rear end with a notch back but a lift gate where it would be easy to load stuff, almost like a Station wagon, but look like a Sedan., there is your "Crossover"

THe Jeep Wrangler has an iconic shape. Perhaps more iconic than any other vehicle outside of maybe 911, or Rolls Royce. The Wrangler must maintain its shape, which segues into my point, that the 300 now has an iconic shape. When hte new car arrives in 20/21, this car will have nearly twenty years of sales with this shape. IMO, when the new platitechture comes out, they need to do mare than pay homage to this shape. I think they need to maintain it, and add to it, without taking anything away.

Almost looks like a Magnum with that weird rear end.

Fox vs Disney? I think Disney does a overall better job, but FOX will let movie be more gritty and less Sterile.... Word is this movie may go for a R, following the success of Deadpool and that Wolverine is nearly a bad in the Comic.

used photoshop to move the post out of the way.. and posted a normal 300 limo for reference.
I feel bad for the Chrysler, and the actors that have to pose near it. It is horribly bodied and has an obvious dip in the roofline, the extension and window design didn't help.

They were trying to turn a 300 [a sedan looks like their starting point] into a late 80s caddy. Zero sense was made in the choices on that thing, IMO.

Whoever was the designer for that thing was going for. A combo of an 80s caddy, and a Chrysler TC or something; either way very late 80s styling.

and failed, miserably. Though there are hints of some photoshops I've done in there. That chrome continuation to the fender, for one.

No, Rear wheel drive without the added ground clearance of a utility vehicle.

I'm starting to think, this thing opens in the middle with a gull-door/ramp or something. The proportions of the would-be rear door just aren't long enough. (prof' x? -shrug- ) It also doesn't look like they -added- any length; rather that they shortened the trunk, and made the nose much more horizontal, if that makes sense? Much more Rolls-esque.

No one understood that was supposed to be a limo until the magic of photoshop removed the post? I thought it was pretty obvious.

That was one of the first cars I thought of too, but the rear doesn't quite have the stubbiness that this.. car.. does.
