This year Maserati should unveil facelift of current generation Ghibli. That should be MY2018. Besides some exterior changes we should expect changes under the hood if they stick with the plan.
As we know for MY2017 they updated infotainment and added some electronic driving aids. Maybe we should expect more if they are going to switch to electronic steering assist.

As I said earlier there should be some changes under the hood.
Current 410 HP V6 60° which is described by Alfa talibans as American should be replaced by all Italian 450 HP V6 90°. That's something I heard as far as autumn of 2014. it lines completely with plans.
They could also add a V8 with at least 560 HP.

Alfieri should be on Giorgio and we know they are packaging constraints to fit TT Pentastar or a engine with modified Pentastar block which is Ferrari F160 used by Maserati.
