The soft top is so nice, makes me wonder if I'll really need a hard top...

The upper soft top with the half doors would be a great cruising setup.

Taking into account the inflation 2012 USD 40,000 are in 2017 USD 42,974.82.

So MRSP moved up following the "official" inflation numbers.
One should look at how much was the real price paid by customers in 2012 and how much is in 2017 for same vehicle.

The actual price numbers can be calculated by hand or using one of online calculators that are based on latest U.S.A. government CPI (consumer price index) data.

Here can be found the CPI data: CPI Home : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (at https://www.bls.gov/cpi/ )

    That's the thing, I don't.

I really like the changes to both.

    JL Wrangler Rubicon:
    + It's a Wrangler
    + Aftermarket support
    + Cargo room
    + Resale value
    + RWD based
    - Fuel economy
    - Higher purchase cost
    - No ACC
    - First year model
    - MPGs vs. KL

    '19 Cherokee TH:
    + Comfortable
    + ACC
    + Panoramic sunroof
    + Purchase price
    + MPGs vs JL
    - Cargo room
    - Aftermarket support
    - FWD based

I suppose you'll have to wait to see the 2L official mpg and/or the diesel.

Go with a Wrangler Sahara 4x4 for 2019. By then, there should be enough inventory the dealers won't upcharge.

Good guys over there at Ace Engineering. I gave them plenty or money with my last two JKs.

First photo of the 2nd row I've seen, thanks Bob. I'd like to see a 2Door JL rear seat.

I like the netting on the back of the front seats. I can see use for carabiner clips 'n such to hold stuff in place.

I hate that style of key.
It's what's on my company Sonic.
Never seems to be easy to insert.
    Remember when fobs were small?
