I am so sorry
A huge loss for Allpar and the Jeep community. Norm wasn't always politically correct, but he was passionate about Jeeps and America's history with the outdoors. I'm going to miss him terribly...just not enough words, or at least not the right ones.
At least we know he'll be in Jeep heaven. As noted a Huge loss for Allpar and the Jeep community.
Condolences to the family and friends of Norman Layton.
It's stunning to see this.
I don't know the details other than it came up on Facebook this morning.
Norm was definitely a passionate person, spoke what he believed, which was always a good thing for all. My condolences and prayers to his wife, family and friends, this is definitely something I didn't see coming. Jeep Heaven for Norm. RIP.
I hope this isn't true...
Wow never met him, but had nothing but utmost respect for him and his passion for everything Jeep/Mopar related. Rest in peace.
Don't believe it. Can't be our Mopar Norm?
Yes, sudden heart attack apparently yesterday.
Good bye, my friend...I learned so much from you. Thank you.
Looks like its true based on the Facebook post.
That's awful.. Condolences to his family & friends. Might not have always agreed with him, but respected his passion for all things Jeep.
Oh my God. This is tragic.
So long, my friend. Happy trails.
Sad day in Moparland. May god bless him and his family. Can someone give him a 21 Jeep salute ...
Mods - Can we combine the two threads?
Shocked and saddened by this news. He was a true advocate for the Jeep brand and for recreational off-roading. He lived and breathed it, and you knew that from the first time you read one of his posts. Discussions here just won't be the same without him. Prayers to his wife and family, and the friends he left behind.
Sad and tragic. The Jeep AND Mopar world just lost a great advocate, and a wealth of knowledge.
RIP Norm, may the trails in the sky always be as rugged as you liked them on earth.
My condolences to his family and friends. The Allpar and Jeep community will not be the same with out him! His passion was second to none and it is with great respect that I say he was one of the reasons I read this forum regularly. This is a sad day indeed.
