Hey everyone! Thanks for having me! Dodge and Plymouth put out some pretty cool cars on the 67-76 A-body. I'm researching how the base unibody did or didn't change between models. Did they all start out with the same A-body/unibody (frame, firewall, radiator support). I know the unibody had an A/C and non-A/C firewall and 73-76 offered a 22" and 26" radiator opening. It looks like all the dashes were basically the same (rally and standard). I heard something about a cowl block off plate, not sure though. Any information would be appreciated!

You'll find a lot of good information in the Standard Catalog of Chrysler, or even the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1946-1975. Starting in the '63 model year, the Darts were longer than the Valiants; I think the wheelbase was 111" for the Dart, 106" for the Valiant, thought the Valiant increased to 108" at some point. They shared drive trains and some body components. Starting with 1971 models, they also shared vehicles; the Plymouth Duster was also assembled as a Dodge Demon (later named Sport), and the Dodge Swinger was also assembled as a Plymouth Scamp. Starting with the 1974 model year, the only differences between the models in each division were grilles, taillights, and trim.
