Depends on the proportions of the lights with the vehicle. The bigger the circles for the lights in comparison to the body makes it look "cutesier".

That is an opinion and your certainly entitled to it. but my point was that the round headlamps need not be "cute"[IMG]

I just haven't liked bentley since they changed the look 'round about 2006. To me, current Bentley design looks like a Chinese knockoff of a Bentley.

If someone were to give me a Bentley, I certainly wouldn’t turn it down over the headlights.

Then I’d sell it, and buy a Gladiator and have enough left over to buy plenty of accessories. :D

I'd sell and use the money and save it to get a Wagoneer. Lol

Outside of the Bentayga, I’ve never liked Bentley more. Their designs are distinctive and the interiors are beyond reproach. The newest Continental GT and Flying Spur are absolutely fantastic vehicle to drive and to view in my opinion.

    Yawn.
I can't believe anyone could possess design skills to be this boring.

Same here...except I'm really not a truck-type person, so my purchase would most likely be a Challenger...with a distant second choice being the 300.

I WAS a diehard jeep grand cherokee fan...but some recent events have pushed me away. I think I'd sell the Bentley and buy a Urus....or a second home.

    Lol

That was incorrectly posted. It’s not a Grand Cherokee, but actually the Chinese Grand Commander that won’t make it to North America.

Yep, i see that now. Thx.
Cyber truck, Telluride, Silverado, even Toyota is taking bigger risk with design. What i hear being suggested on this thread doesn't sound encouraging to advancing FCA design.

Cybertruck and Telluride are new products so they can afford to have a dramatic new design language. Grand Cherokee is a known product so if it looks too different, they will risk alienating current customers.

Yes, and imagine how much that would be invested in a high-yield 5-year interest earning account! The Wagoneer would only be 3-years away by then. ;)

I really don't want to buy used as my next vehicle so, I'm hoping FCAUS will deliver something that my eyes, heart and wallet cannot say "NO" to....and looking at the links (photos) from Autoblob, I am not sold on that exterior (camou considered).

I intend to buy something used as my next vehicle. So, I wish they would deliver something sooner rather than later.

    I see your point.
What FCA product can we expect that philosophy not to apply to ?
Are we only getting the conservative sticker packages to not alienate anyone ?

Time will tell. IMO the renderings aren't current and will alienate more.
Extreme and keeping with the time are very different.

I'd imagine products like the Renegade, Compass, and Cherokee could see dramatic redesigns. None of those have the cult following of the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee and we may even see Cherokee shift to RWD for the next generation. Maybe it can revert to boxier styling?

Dramatic redesigns? I'm not sure except for the Cherokee. Of course of all them will be thoroughly updated for the next generation.

I think that for the Compass we will be able to see with the new Alfa Tonale in which direction it could be improved.
Interior space, cargo space... And so on.

I know that some people on this forum don't like small size difference between these three cars.
I'm interested to hear what they have to say about Toyota's plan for new SUV which will slot between C-HR and RAV4.

I sure hope Cherokee shift to RWD.
If the rumors of Mazda CX-5 turning into a RWD with an Inline-6 comes true, sure it will grow in size but it will also sure attract more attention. Whether that turns into sales number, we'd have to wait and see.
