I have the projector lights on my truck and honestly have no complaints. Even compared to my wife's MDX with the LED lamps.

Try driving something from the early 80's for a while and then see how bad your candlesticks really are. I really hate driving my 86 SVO at night.

There seem to be a lot of manufacturers that have no idea what they are doing using LED's because there are way too many that are absolutely blinding to oncoming traffic and if they cant do a better job with them so they are not then outlaw them because the way they are now is dangerous .

On my 20 Durango the halogen projectors markedly mediocre at best . They come in second worst of all time next to our 96 Voyager .

Most of the les headlights aren't as strong as their hid counterparts. I think it's more the color of them that makes them seem brighter. My wifes accord has led head and fogs. They are excellent to me and weve never been flashed like I've been in my jeep SRT's or my current trackhawk.

The difference between the HID projector lights on my 2018 Ram and the LED lights on my 2019 is, excuse the pun, night and day.

I doubt that Explorer will be direct competitor. Lincoln will be...

Where in the thread is the info on the update to Android Auto. My search of the thread doesn't give me any results. I would like to do this procedure on my '16 Ram 1500.

It looks to be at the beginning of the thread. It means swapping for a newer radio.

Feel free to PM me and I can summarize for you as you'll need to pick a few parts depending on your current setup. I also have a UAS for sale that I picked up and no longer need since I picked up a UAQ.

Correct, need to swap out the RA4/VP4 that came with your 2016 for a UAS(non-nav)/UAQ(nav) out of a 2018+ Ram Classic.

People have constantly argued the Explorer wasn't competition for the Grand Cherokee. Someone even tried to convince me FCA didn't see the last gen Ford Explorer as competition to Grand Cherokee despite the fact that at the time the Explorer was on the Jeep website section where Grand Cherokee was compared to competitor's products.

It should be a competitor to the Edge/Nautilus based on size. Maybe with the Edge and Nautilus moving to RWD and the 3-row Grand Cherokee coming, the two-row can be directly aligned with the Edge and the three-row can be aligned with the Explorer.

It will compete against both in the United States unless they move it much more upscale than it is now and don't offer lower trim levels.

Anybody that doesn't think the Grand Cherokee competes with Explorer is smoking crack.
Operative word is "should" real world....... I have NEVER loss a deal to a Ford Edge . By Grand Cherokee finally(about 5 years late to the game) offering a 3rd row it just makes it it MORE competitive with Explorer. But dont get it twisted GC and Explorer have been direct competitors for 20 years

Surprised he didn’t mention the Durango which is RWD and has many of the things he likes without many of the things he dislikes like the transmission. I just sat in a an Explorer ST at an auto show and could not believe how cheap a few of the interior pieces were. Like the plastic around the center console vents.
