    I believe the ttv6 was chopped because the i6 fit with electric accessories thanks to a 48 volts system. I suspect the i6 is cheaper to manufacture, mostly due to the development of the i4, and inherently a better engine.
    I’ve heard a lot of chatter about test mules with the ttv6, and it was very positive. My real guess is that cooling passages in an inline configuration work better than a v. Especially when you turn up the boost.
