    Why all the pessimism?

    Now that the Inline-4 is on the scene, isn't it only logical that the Inline-6 would follow to help amortize costs?

    Given FCA's behavior pattern......it's likely we'll have to wait a good long time for it.....but I imagine it's still coming.

    They may want to milk the pentastar a little longer. I don't see them developing a whole new v6 though.

    .

    I'd accept, and even look forward to, a Genesis SRT-8 as a substitute for a Chrysler SRT ( since commitment for that doesn't seem serious enough to muster from FCA).

    ... And the Stinger could, possibly, have the stuff to move forward as the basis for a Charger ( however, as yet, I'm unsure if the engine compartment could accommodate a Hemi ). Twin-Turbo, on the other hand, * IS * doable.

    { Genesis TT-V6 : Standard 3.3L twin-turbo engine 365 hp, sport-tuned 8-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® and paddle shifters }

    It would actually make sense to hold off on a the GME-6 until they launch the US-GME-T4 and see what comes up in the field.

    I'm driving a test Elantra GT now. VERY impressive. Handles far better than my Dart ('course my Dart isn't a GT!), rides better, is a bit quieter, no squeaks or rattles, and mainly - 200+ horsepower turbo-four that feels like a good V6, and a very smooth, easy to use clutch. Gas mileage is poor, though.

    So you're driving the gt sport with i think a 1.5 or 1.6t since the normal gt is 2.0 and not turbo. If that's the case the engine is pretty good but it lacks behind vs the other cars in the segment. Not a bad car by any means but everything you said that was good about the car is lacking vs the other in the segment and turned me away from it

    .

    Do you care to name brand/model camera?

    We need a new camera. I'm pretty much upside down and backwards where camera/camcorders are concerned.

    I use a nikon d3300, good entry level. Some pictures i have taken with it can be found in these two links M1 - Google Drive (at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5-u0m1_4KaNN1dwaUJTZDdSeVU )

    1.6 Turbo in this car, a bit over 200 horsepower. Very nice, smooth power. Much nicer than the more expensive VW. Car comes with pretty much everything, standard — blind spot/rear cross path, HIDs or LEDs, etc, etc. Stereo is a real weak spot and gas mileage is V6-poor. Otherwise I can't have any complaints.

    As for the camera, it's a Canon G16, and from what I can tell, few people HAVE been able to make it work. My primary camera is, a think, a D5000 or D500 some such... some generic Nikon that filled in the old D70/D90 slot. Digital Photography Review (at https://www.dpreview.com/ ) will provide extensive reviews of any camera you care to look at, just beware the fire-hose effect...

    The G16 is great for its portability, but the sensor is tiny by modern standards. Problem is, I can't find a camera with a reasonable zoom and aperture that will fit in my pocket for anything near a reasonable price.

    Not pessimistic at all actually. My disappointment is that there’s no juicy gossip from inside the mothership for us to chew on. This makes sense though, since the I6 Is no doubt very early in its development.
