Well it's all speculation that the current HEMI will get an update. I have read the original saying major changes "seem to" have been abandoned. I would be pretty surprised however they let their best seller not catch at least 10-15 more HP/torque. Motor trend predicted a while back about 425 HP. That seems a bit too high. But remember 2008 (345) 2009 (390). In terms of the 6.4, that will get an 8 speed most likely. If they put an 8 speed in the heavy duty then why not in the half ton? EPA? maybe. TBH I kinda rambled about the mid design something I haven't really read on. I unfortunately can't find what I'm looking for. But, RAM will have performance vehicles in the future, that I found. 2019? I have no idea.

Possibly but at the end of the day we shouldn't have to band aid the problem with that. I just hope mine goes out under warranty for whoever buys my truck after I have it's sake.

That doesn't sound good at all. Not at that low mileage especially.

I didn't see this until now, no it's much more than the Hemi tick. Trucks are getting misfires mostly on cylinders 3 and 5 and the root cause of that is seized lifters and cam lobes ground flat as a result. Seems to be costing guys roughly $3500+4k to fix out of warranty.

Oh God, that's not bad.....I've got a few 2017's on the lot with no miles on them that sound way worse than that. And blow blue smoke out the tailpipe for a few minutes to accompany the lifter orchestra!!

I don't think so, basically they need to put some work into the Hemi reliability wise for DT.

True, I have trouble holding onto a vehicle for very long. That’s the downside to working at a dealership and seeing all the new models. Though my current vehicle obsession is actually the JL...

That will likely change when the DT arrives though.

Early spy shots had me concerned about the looks of this truck.

I'm no longer concerned. What I'm seeing is a fine looking machine. I'm eagerly looking forward to the reveal.

Pretty sure there will be one in my stable. Provided they come out of the chute with diesel.

The HEMI tick issue was fixed in the 2017 model year.
