@redriderbob why wait when you could just spill the beans? ;)

I keep thinking about the sport whenever I see pictures of the DT with the black out tape on the grille. I bet it's going to look really slick.

They have the absolute WORST infotainment systems too, Mylink and Cadillac Cue are the 2 most nonsensical maddening infotainment systems I've ever used. The graphics and icons look straight out of a PS1. They've never been known for quality interiors, technology features or innovation for that matter and I don't see that changing for them anytime soon.

Yeah man totally agree. And the truck uncovered today is a big horn most likely. Will we see the whole grille chrome or just the RAM and the horizontal pieces?

    (not talking about quality)
I've always found the smoother, cleaner look of the GM interior much more pleasing.
A bunch of goofy bumps and bulges like some steroid fueled freak seems juvenile to me.

The RAM interior has been miles ahead of the competition since 2013. THIS interior however?... well it looks like the competition isn’t even on the same planet. Well done RAM.

MyLink looks like it has the interface of one of those cheap imitation iPhones you can buy on eBay.

Uconnect has always been great IMO. The new Uconnect looks better, is more feature rich and faster.....BUT....its buggy. Ive only had my 2018 PW for two months and have already received 2 over the air updates and its still buggy..while its still not nearly as maddening as some of the Ford STYNC systems Ive had and sampled, its not the rock solid unit Ive come to expect..FCA better get a handle on it and fast.

Interesting to hear. Mine has been a bit buggy as well, last year it was changing radio stations by itself and last week it was adjusting the volume by itself while driving down the highway. A hard reset worked both times to solve the issues though. I've actually been looking at swapping the 2018 unit into my truck to get Android auto. I also love the look of the 18's interface.

The first time I saw a new Uconnect system in a new Charger the system rebooted by itself after about a minute and didn't come back on. I had to get out of the car and come back about thirty minutes later before it was fixed. In my own 2017 Charger I also had a lot of glitches and had to force it to restart a lot. Sometimes audio would completely go off until I restarted the system (not just the car). It was noticeably worse than previous versions and I was glad to go back to the "old" system in my Ram.

"Great but buggy" is an excellent description of UConnect. It can be a little frustrating at times but the VAST majority of the time it works so well and is packed to the gills with features.

The truck looks great, but hopefully RAM will also improve on the quality control and their crap dealer service.
