First issue I have had, but on the way home tonight, my drivers headlight turned pink. Yes, pink. No idea why, but it is absolutely, positively, pink as Polly's panties. Any ideas? I have the Limited, and am not sure if they are HID, or bulbs.

If they are LED lamps, the green chip(s) failed.

I just had a look at the Dodge web site and at the Dart. All I see offered is the Halogen Projector lamps.

Xenon will turn pink as the bulb fails.
I m fairly certain HID (Xenon) lights are available on the Dart though LEDs aren't.

Interesting. I have seen replacement HID's pink. HID lamps are nothing more then an arc lamp similar to the Mercury Vapor or Metal Halide street lamps and I have seen them get dim as they age. Usually when I see one light up with either a pinkish or greenish glow there is usually impurities in the gas.

Pink before it fails per the dealer. I will get one from my daughter at O'Reilly Auto. Even with her discount, 106 bucks! At least it is an easy swap. Unlike a Toyota or Honda.

Bought OEM bulbs from wish.com for 18 bucks a pair. D3S bulbs.

$106 isn't bad when you consider how much you saved by getting 'em for a Dart instead of, say, a 300!

    $18 is a steal.

Would love to retrofit HIDs but don't think that works.

You often can for OEM HIDs - but some tricks are involved. If you don't the HIDs will flicker.
