I would like to know if the cutouts are open or closed on startup. really thinking of buying the new Daytona, but have a 24/7 on call job. Starting at 3am at full blast is not good for my family or neighbors.

They are normally closed. Not vacuum operated, but pulse motor positioned.

Are you saying only open when a certain rpm is reached?

I know this, the Hellcat is really loud on cold start. After about 15 second it begins to calm down and get less loud. Sounds good!
