2019 Ram 1500 “DT” video
Great video... looks like new cab and chassis with old bed and nose.
Amazing how much they are still hiding (old front/tailgate/lights) when this is going to show in less than a year.
As they should.
So many complainypants in the link responses... They don't see any differences? That's 100% by design or intention guys, hence the body camo and covering up. Not to mention the thousands of other reasons manufactures drive vehicles on the road that have nothing to do with body design.
I think they are doing new body camo durability testing for use in 2020.
Sun fade durability.
Wind flapping resistance and durability.
Stitch load testing.
Strap and tension buckle tension.
All that jazz.
This is because they are testing certain aero parts the will be entirely new to DT. This truck is most DS parts, but remember doesn't mean the tailgate won't have a couple of new aero tricks to it. Remember, the spy shots that came out a while back? Look at the tailgate on that... looks like their is a stamped design in the tailgate similar to the current F-150.
This website seems to list the diesel for 2017, late availability, same diesel going into this tho yeah?
The diesel is on hold for now.
Will they finally off a suv too?
Ram SUV based on the 1/2 ton truck? Sorry, but not currently in the plans that I know of.
Small, difficult market.
It's on hold like Erik said, however they are going to milk the EcoDiesel mileage to help sell other HEMI and Pentastar powered models. Its all about marketing.
Six lug axles. Interesting...are the current trucks six lug?
The 1/2 Ton, No. good eye.
No Ram 1500 based SUV... there was only one SUV that was supposed to carry the Ram badge... it's called the Dodge Durango. It will get rid of its cross hair in 2020.
.. the Wagoneers are supposed to be just that. Unless you're saying that they're going to be HD based?
No Ram brand SUV... hows that!
So no Ramcharger then... Unless they make it as a Dodge brand which I highly doubt.
No. Looks like Warren will be packed with Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. That doesn't include the fact that they will be bringing the Ram heavy-duty pick up line to Warren as well.
