Just revealed as a concept at Texas State Fair! 575HP
Looks like finally a Raptor Fighter!
Wow, how did they detune it that much?
Not that 575hp is low.
Supercharged Ram Rebel TRX
Some details, some pix, waiting for the video to become available to get more.
With all that talk about it's capability, I'm disappointed they didn't do anything in the video more advanced than a 30mph drive over a well maintained gravel road.
Yes, I know it's a concept, but it's one of those things where I'd rather see that it can actually do these things, rather than someone say it can, and they show it driving on terrain that a lowered Passat could handle.
That said: it looks good & I hope it makes it to production with that capability.
That side exhaust is sweet. The torque from the Hellcat must feel awesome.
The raptor with the video camera couldn't keep up with it...
So could any of the insiders clue us in as to whether this is a hint at a production vehicle, or just fun concept?
That thing is awesome! Any chance it will make it to market? I hope so.
If you see. They added a standard shift level to the 8-speed and reused a Dodge Viper steering wheel... however its mated with paddle shifters.
Certain details are a dead give away nods to the next Ram... I'll let you guys and gals guess what that might be.
I'm going to guess that they will probably snag that shifter and the air intake, that'll feed the new diesels too
(sarc) Again one of those useless vehicles designed by Marchionne the beancounter.
And that idiot British guy, Manley, shows he knows nothing about trucks.
Bring back the Dodge Dakota, (sarc)
The hood/upper intake inlet probably (maybe not functional vents but the styling) . The proportion of headlight to grille, probably too.
Oh man.....that is one BA truck..... please oh please let that be something that will make it to production.....then I could get the best of both worlds.....Hellcat power(i'm sure it wont be hard to get back to 707) with the utility of a truck.
I have never seen a truck with anything other than a Meh? Expression on its face.
This truck looks absolutely angry, pissed off even.
Oh nice, our first look at the Trackhawk powerplant.....
I say they NEED to build this. This is one incredible vehicle that makes the Raptor seem toyish in comparison.
Such an obvious product. Now will they have the testicular fortitude to build it. If it was a different time, maybe. We may see it in 2022. (Sarcasm)
I love that look.
