The first Renegades that I have seen are in the Council Bluffs, IA distribution yard. Seen about 6 of them with one being silver another some kind of lt. grey color and the rest black. Not a bad looking car and definitely bigger than I anticipated.

They are as Small in person as I thought a B segment car would be, kept wonder about the bigger than I thought stuff. It is well packaged.

I think many were thinking it would be significantly smaller than Patriot - and it's not.

Actually, there was a Patriot and a Renegade nose to nose and the Patriot looks smaller. The Renegade is a bit taller and from a side view, its fuller/beefy looking. There was also a Renegade and a Cherokee side by side and the ugly in the Cherokee is really evident when looking at them.

Renegade is a bit taller and wider, and the greenhouse is noticeably taller than Patriot. It is shorter in length than Patriot and that's where the cargo volume takes a hit.

I would love to have a dealer on here take a couple pics with a Cherokee next to Renegade, each with the same content in the cargo space. i.e. a couple suitcases and a cooler or something. It would be nice to put to rest all the talk about which one is bigger or more usable, etc.

And maybe one next to the Patriot too.

We have four of them in Bellevue, NE. The Trailhawk is the only one I care for, lets say I'm not a fan overall.

    From FCA's specifications:
    2015 Renegade vs 2015 Patriot
    Overall Length: 166.6 | 173.8

EPA Interior Volume Index, cu. ft.: 118.6 | 124.4

    SAE Cargo Volume
Rear Seats Up, cu. ft.: 18.5 | 23.0
Rear Seats Folded, cu. ft.: 50.8 | 53.5
Behind Front-row Seats with Rear Seats Folded, cu. ft.: 50.8 | 63.4 (w/front pass seat folded)

The cargo volume of the Renegade is less than that of the Patriot.

I noticed one sitting out front when I came home yesterday afternoon and it still had the plastic covering on it. I might have to take a look at that trailhawk, but the last time I was in there to get some parts the sales people were on me like flies on crap. I can't stand pushy idiotic people.

This information has been posted numerous times by both you and me.

It is also clearly listed on the Allpar Renegade Specifications page.

I'm the parts manager there... I won't say anything bad other than I don't disagree with you about salesmen.

Love how the rear passenger windows disappear all the way down into the door.

Lets see all three parked side-by-side [KL, Patriot, and Renegade] with identical coolers, chainsaws (in cases), suitcases, tool box, and sleeping bags in the waybacks. See which ones have room to close the hatches.

On a drive today I spotted a Renegade at a small dealer in the middle of nowhere Iowa. I mean literally, the dealership is 5 miles from the nearest town, I couldn't believe it. So I took pictures:

I'm in the Minneapolis metro area and drove by the local CDJR dealer today. There were close to 10 of them on the lot. True car shows the asking price for these are a few dollars more than MSRP. Not really a surprise. It will be interesting to see how many were sold this month.
