Does anyone have a power curve graph for the 2.0 or 2.4 engines? Like this one...
I would be interested in seeing that too. The Dart is on my list of cars to look at when I get back to the U.S. if I decide to go with a car.
I have a 2013 SXT with the 2.0. It is a little disappointing sometimes, but I came our of a Jaguar and Shelby GT 500. The 2.0 is a good little engine and has adequate power. The only exception is when it is hot, which here in Texas is half of the year. It gets very sluggish. I think that is due to the 0W20 oil.
I've got the V6 200S and I love it. It is very quick and you can easily be over the speed limit without realizing it. Super quick at accelerating. I've tested 0-60mph by doing a few runs and the average of the best times was 6.3 seconds if you round up. It is wonderfully quick. I've heard claims of times in the 5s.
I liked the Dart engine too, but if the car was lighter, I think it would be even better. Too bad a sporty Dart was never made.
The nine speed makes the most of the V6, all right. The 2.0 is pretty good most of the time for most people, it’s certainly not a performance engine.
Bob, thanks for the charts - but those are extrapolations...
