Yeah but something 3/4 the size of the JT is what many were hoping for.
    At least in the length.

So just a Scrambler? Just the 4 door minus the 2 doors and a bed.... hmmmm

I'd want a 2 door with truck cab and a separate bed. The 4 door with a bed is just too long to take on trails. A CJ Scambler had a long tub, no separate bed.

Sigh... The Ram 1500 five link suspension is based on a Jeep design. The suspension used in the JT is NOT “Ram 1500 inspired”

It is not JLT... it is JT.

anyone else note thats a dana rear axle? not a 9.25 as the DS uses, unknown if the DT will carry that as well. its also 5 lug, vs the DT 6 lug. i would imagine that if the JT and DT were to share a line, let alone significant components then they would have more of these components in common.
the bumper appears to share traits with DS, with the 4 pin/7 pin wiring, and similar plate lamps.

I think there’s an uphill battle on that one. Most of the articles I’ve seen so far are saying the same thing. I guess informed journalism is a lost art these days.

The "Jeep Lettuce Tomato" has been making me laugh. I'm okay with the fan-dubbed acronym.

Is that Jeep's attempt to reach out to vegetarians?

It’s completely wrong and not a good acronym. Real Jeep fans will use the correct term, JT.

I mean this as politely as possible - but I don't think anyone can determine who is and isn't a "real Jeep fan" Mike. No need to come down on the playful term.

This is Allpar... we use the correct terms. Using the wrong term shows a lack of understanding of platform/architecture designations. Using JLT misrepresents the vehicle because it not simply a JL with a truck bed on it.

The Jeep Truck is JT... I mean that as politely as possible.
