Return of the Magnum?
Hey, a guy can dream, right?
Haha, that was my first thought. Oh my, imagine the reveal and they roll out a Magnum.
Expect the unexpected.
So, a high-riding FWD based crossover sedan (named Daytona) with coupe-like styling, powered by a 1.4L turbo and DDCT?
Did a push enough freak-out buttons to win a prize?
Wrong doom message in this thread.
This thread is for people who buy Dodge, drive Dodge and believe in Dodge.
Try this one instead: FCA quality: lousy scores (at https://www.allpar.com/forums/threads/fca-quality-lousy-scores.166987/ )
it's really about the SRT appearance group.
No, Allpar is not a [person who likes a particular brand] site. Allpar deals in the realities of the auto industry with a focus on all things Mopar.
Blind loyalty is not the purpose. Reality is the purpose.
Relevant is the correct word.
I notice more and more young owners, who have money to spend and who buy Dodge or Alfa.
With 26 I am below that average, but with the first one due in 3 months, that Durango with SRT looks will be the next one on the list.
4 doors is handy says the lady.
I'd take clear glasses over rose-colored ones any day.
Dodge has carved out a niche for itself that depends on a lot of things:
1) Continued low gas prices
2) Continued economy that allows people to buy the car they want rather than basic transportation
3) Continued use of the Hemi engine - Dodge's image doesn't yet extend to non-V8 power
It's gamble that works int he current economic climate.
I was responding to someone else's post.
