Who still has a 2001 PT that was bough new in 2001?
How many Miles?
I still have mine that I bought new in April 2001, I have 136500 miles on it
It looks like I'm the only one that is still driving a 2001 that was bought new in 2001
I have an '02 bought in December of '01, 135,000 miles on it, and she still looks pretty darn good to me. Wonderful cars, love them to death. The only thing I wish they would have offered was the 3.3/3.8 under the hood. I know it is a bit of work to get it there, but it would have been a pretty nice little hotrod. Yeah, I know, turbo, but some of us aren't big turbo fans.
Bought my 01 in October 2000 and sold it August 2015. Second owner still has it and likes it.
I actually have the two of them, still in the family, oldest daughter has my original and my grand daughter just got her license, learning how to drive a manual. Thank goodness Arizona is flat (haha), the other is auto and wife and daughter are going to take it from CA to Florida on a trip this weekend, so that should be fun for them.
Point of order, aren't *all* 2001 PTs original? Unless of course they are PT kit cars based on an MG chassis......
my 2001 is still in immaculate shape and 36k original miles
You need to see my Car Of The Year PT Cruiser in the parts for sale section! =)
Ordered Feb 14, 2000, delivered July 25, 2000, Ltd w/airaid intake and borla SS duals since first day. Still driving almost daily, 116,600 orig miles, Just had radiator replaced and bellcrank on rear suspension. Still drives and runs great.
Ordered I think around August 2000, delivered December 2000 Limited Edition. Still have it at 87,000 miles. I never did any of the recall fixes cause it ran so well I did not want to jinx it. I definitely need to do engine mounts and new bushings in the suspension now but I still like it what can I say...
I had a 05, loved it . It was a 5 speed manual. It was hard on motor mounts. I wasn't realy trying but I think it was doing hole shots with the 5 speed.
