RIP to his dad, although the timing is bad, for obvious reasons.
Yeah, nothing like another kick in the nads for him. I hope it doesn't knock him off his pace too much, it seems like he's made some pretty good progress. It's always hard to lose your mom or dad. Hoping for the best.
I am so sorry that the family is going through all this at once. I'm praying for the best.
Gawd when it rains it pours.
Happy to hear Jim is in rehab, though.
Wishing him a prompt recovery.
There is a pic on his health updates Facebook page where he's sitting at a table with a helmet on. I so very badly want to send him a hockey stick to complete his set, but I'm not sure how it would go over.
Sorry, it's my awful medical humor poking through, but it's nice to see him doing well.
The family could use some help with funeral expenses for Jim's father - no life insurance.

Egads. I will send some money separately from the gofundme.
Any more word on the Bob or Strat?

So glad to hear there is both an update and he is mending well. God Bless him and his family.
Latest update, a few weeks old:
We finally got Jim's phone unlocked, but for some reason it says there is no sim card...even though there is.
His memory is coming back. Bone flap surgery should be this month. (Two weeks more is Max that the first doctor said we had to wait.)
I'll let you know more when I know more. Jim can't wait to get it over and done with.
Sometimes Jim comes home to the condo to visit and stay the night. He can do the stairs, but it winds him. Thankfully his heart is getting stronger.
Jim is walking proof that God listens to prayers and answers them in His time.
Prayers get better
I've been following his health updates on Facebook. In the pics he looks pretty good. He got his ICD put in and did well with that, and was waiting for the bone flap surgery. But the last update was from Sept 6th so he may have had it already. Hope all is well.
Just saw this on his health updates page on Facebook:
Jim is having his bone flap put back in on Thursday at 1:00."
This is the latest from his health update Facebook page:
Jim is up in the chair doing OT and PT!
He had a great night.
No more helmet either.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
He had his surgery yesterday, and looks to be doing pretty well!
We are all praying for his recovery here.
OT, then, is Occupational Therapy? No?
Glad to hear of progress being made.
Praying for the right stuff and the right effort be applied to his case the right way.
Yup, OT is occupational therapy. Get him up and moving (PT) and finer skills and such (OT). Getting him back to black!
