    Most of FCA's profit comes from the USA and considering that unlike GM and Ford, FCA actually pays taxes, those corporate tax cuts should be a good profit boost for them that was not in their original plan.

    What should FCA do with all the additional cash?

    Lower the MSRP of the JL so I can afford one.

    Get back into major motorsports series like Nascar and ARCA. Increase support for NHRA doorslammer teams (not Funny Car or TF - enough going there already) and work on a competitive Pro Stock motor.

    At 31 december 2016 the FCA US pension fund was underfunded by approximately Euro 4.7 billion (more than USD 5 billion).
    So maybe decreasing more that should be one of primary goals, even more when next downturn arrives, and will arrive.

    Rather seem them in development series with modern technology like Indycar then the retroBox of declining attendance and ratings of Nothing To Do With Stock cars. Brian France is running that series into the ground.

    If we get into Indy it would be with alfa most likely. There was a rumor a year or so back about it

    Because rather talk about this then the subject heading on this thread :D (it does effect me as my company now is run out of Ireland).... Rumor of a third manufacturer working with Cosworth which means it is most likely not Alfa.... since the assumption would be that the prancing horse would develop the powerplant. My guess is Mazda that is already deeply involved in the ladder series

    I'd say their pro stock days are behind them. Mopar and AJ went to the NHRA and proposed the current chassis but stock Challenger/Camaro/Mustang bodies on them and they shot it down - that was the last straw.

    Make LED running lights and active safety features a no cost option on every trim level of every vehicle. Goes a long way when you can impress a customer with all of the included options.

    They don't have the money for that - I am wondering why they haven't sold Lancia at this point, let someone else rebuild it rather than just killing it off.

    OK then, no Pro Stock, then put that saved $$$$ into real sportsman doorslammer support. In NHRA, that would look something like this;
