Congratulations to Joe Welch for winning the recent Factory Stock Class at the Florida NMCA Race this last weekend at Bradenton Motorsports Park.. It was an all Mopar Fiinal, with Welch defeating Turk in the final. Turk had been the first stocker in the 7's with a 7.97 pass, and then backing it up with a 7.99 in Qualifying. Turk won $10,000 from holley EFI for being the first ti the 7's. However Turk spun in the final, with Welch taking the win 8.02 to 8.12 . Look for these two, along with Leah Pritchett and Alan Johnson in Factory Stock this weekend at the Gatornationals!

Demon on Top gear
Born an icon. Legendary for years to come.
For years to come......hmmm, the top dog for years to come???
Who says you can't have fun on Allpar.
Yeah I was away last week and came back to a bunch of threads asking guys to tone it down. This place is a blast, I just ignore the negativity when it is unfounded.
Second time with my Demon to the Track. With a full tank of gas and the front seat in. They only had the 1/8th mile clocks on today because of a big radial race . Turned a 6.52 ET with a 1.45 60 ft. Hot lapped the car and it was deadly consistent. Getting close to that nine!
That 60 footer is pretty good
Dodge Demon One Year Later
Dodge Demon: One year after its New York Auto Show debut (at https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/autos-sports/dodge-demon-one-year-after-its-new-york-auto-show-debut/ar-AAvfFR1?ocid=spartandhp )
An interesting article with details on the number of Demons delivered, under production, and yet to be built. Also some analysis of the halo effect the Demon has had for Dodge and specifically the Dodge Challenger.
I like the conclusion that maybe Dodge (FCA) is doing things right.
Good article. I think they are doing it right. After lusting over a Challenger for years and watching the Hellcat launch and then the incredibly fun videos leading to the Demon's release - it finally pushed me to getting one. Not a high-dollar HC or Demon, but a really nice Scat Pack. Fast enough for me and I simply love being part of the family of Challengers.
I've had 4 Challengers a 2009 red RT 2010 purple RT 2013 SRT 392 purple and a 2016 Hellcat I believe there is no bad challenger to own
That'll be the place to do it, either at a big radial race or right after one when the track is still prepped for radials. That and a good DA is what it'll take to replicate the 9.65 Dodge ran.
Yes exactly. The first trip to the track a few weeks ago, was at a test and tune which had very little prep. After 9 futile, tire shredding launches, at every where from 15-19 PSI...I left and went home looking for an event where I would have good prep, like this radial event. ( the car was the center of attention with all the 3-4 second radial guys lol). What a difference great prep makes! I also have Weld making me some 11” S-71 wheels, for the new 315/50/17 ET street R Mickey Thompson tire coming out in May. This tire should work great with the 3:09 gear, and put me right at 6500 in the traps. Now about that DA in Oklahoma....
