Very impressed with the new Lincolns. Could care less about Ford's design language, but love Lincoln's new direction.

I have to say that Lincoln has a great stable of cars now and it just keeps improving, imo. I'm really not fond of Ford at all, so the fact that Lincoln is so appealing to me really says something.

They captured what made the 300 great, that classic styling. Their prices are extremely high, so they will not move many, but that is the long-term approach that Lincoln is taking. Only time will tell if it works.

Now Lincoln needs a new Aviator or something similar based off of the Explorer. And then a subcompact CUV based on the EcoSport. That would complete their lineup.

That does not look bad. Definitely an improvement in looks and name over the current MKX.

Lincoln is steadily taking Chrysler's thunder.:( Bold and brawny crossovers with classical names is exactly what I'd hope to see from Chrysler. I'd expect that Chrysler will be able to undercut Lincoln's price as a mainstream brand though simply because Lincoln has Ford platinum trims to compete with.

    I guess they've settled on a "face".

I think they have a winner with that design language.

Sergio would love to have those margins, but Chrysler would fail because FCA cannot offer the premium service and quality expected by buyers in those price ranges.

Keep in mind that Lincoln is still in the infancy stage of this, proving itself to those who take a chance.
When friends are attracted by the good styling, they will ask about the quality and service....and that is what will lead Lincoln to succeed or fail.

I do too. It makes a good statement on just about every car they've put it on so far. I have to say that I personally liked the more "Oldsmobile-looking" design just prior but this will make a much better impression in their target markets, I think.

I like the story behind the move from the MKwhatever series of car models.

And a RWD/AWD luxury sport coupe based on the Mustang, with a convertible variant :p

It would be America's answer to the BMW 4-series and the Infiniti Q60...

    So do I.

I saw a Continental today and couldn't help but admire it. It is one good good looking car.
