I drove a 2010 COMPASS w/CVT for work and absolutely loved driving it in manual (auto-stick) mode even with the vocal intake yowl! One of our other vehicles was a 2011 Toyota RAV4 (boring/numb) snoozer....

Just saw a new Compass on the road - looks way better than the Cherokee!

Is that a compliment? A wreckage looks better than a Cherokee! LOL

Some people like the looks... it continues to sell well. I do agree that the refresh will be welcomed.

I'm the opposite. The Trailhawk's nose is even more pointed looking which turns me off to a greater degree than the regular snout.
Don't hold it against me. After all I've been driving flat square front end XJ Cherokee's since 89.

Indeed. Trailhawk is the more handsome trim on any Jeep.

Trailhawk on the Cherokee is worse IMO. The black plastic dominates the front to the point where it looks cheap. The Compass Trailhawk looks much better.

    Cheap?! Really?!

I would not want it as body color. Give me unpainted plastic any day. At least I won't scratch any paint on the trail.

I also think the unfinished black plastic looks cheap. I'm also not a fan of all the fake plastic Kentucky chrome that seems to be the go to on everything now.

You're one of the few who would buy a Cherokee Trailhawk that would actually be concerned about scratching the paint on a trail. I'm not saying the entire bumper needs to be painted, it just needs to be a different design entirely with more body color pieces.

Well, i figure if it bugs you that much, you can always have it sanded down & painted to match. Might look odd tho.

You gotta do it nice and thick if you want it to come off easy. Done right, it won't even peel in an accident.

No, the temperature required to cure powder coat would melt the TPO plastic fascia.
