Dealers around here, stock the front with Rams, JK's and Renegades & Chargers/Challengers.. Everything else and the Pacificas' are 'round back for the most part.

I've seen more than a few now out and about. Not sure if any were rentals or not. But it does seem like I'm seeing them in greater numbers than I saw Cherokees or Renegades at first if that means anything. I just hope they're selling without piles of cash on the hood. Definitely a handsome vehicle from someone who doesn't like minivans one bit.

Oddly the van blitz lately has been the most odd, yet interesting market I try to follow. Full size vans have had a huge shake up, and now the fire is on in the minivan segment with all players packing heat.

The new Sienna stole the power (as per 2017 Toyota site) claim.
"It’s the muscle behind the swagger. With 296 horsepower on tap, Sienna certainly isn’t short on thrills. Refined and powerful, this new 3.5-liter V6 direct-injection engine with Direct Shift-8AT (Automatic Transmission) helps Sienna move at the speed of your family. And since it offers an EPA-estimated 27 highway mpg, 21 fuel stops won’t get in the way of your fun."

The new Odyssey may even put out the new Honda 10-speed (now fast tracked further). Granted their strange VCM management is hindered by problems with lack of spark usage and Honda has to fall back on the normal VCM it had... but it still has a lot of daunting research in friction reduce and VCM.

The Sedona is anything to laugh at when one considers the current market.

The Pacifica has a lot riding on it (and in it lol), and I still hope they continue the Grand Caravan for the ability to undercut others simply to not have a conquest to a customer that you may not get back, or if you do - at an extreme cost.

From the very first day they hit the lots, Pacificas have had $2500 on the hood.

Same here...with Minivans, Darts and 200s...Charger and 300's not far behind the first row of Rams and Jeeps...then they wonder why the Dart and 200 can't sell...

Being a triditional Chrysler buyer i would not entertain paying list price. Unless t was a $2400 Road Runner.

When you have a strip mall of 10 dealerships and only de CDJR/Fiat dealers have their trucks up front, you have to wonder. GM have their Spark/Sonic/Cruze up front, Ford has their Focus and Fiesta...and they both sell money making trucks. They do have trucks in the front but they keep cars as well...

What good is a 10 speed when you only use 8?
Years ago I was trying to get my Wife into a Charger, as she pulled into the lot she said I don't want a truck and drove through the dealership without stopping. She bought a Chrysler at a "Chrysler" dealership.

I couldn't even find a new Dart (or 200) at the FCA display at the Dream Cruise.

That was very fast indeed, ... though they'd be focused on the hot cars, were there any Journeys there?

In the snow areas a 4 wheel assist system would be a selling point. An electric motor driving the rear axles would help get you up driveways and away from stop signs during snow conditions. Many cities and states are using only chemicals to treat the roads [no sand]. Using some of the new technology , adding batteries and controls would not only aid in snow driving, but could also be used to with stop/start engines to improve mileage while going down hills and level areas and parking lot 'searching'.

Somehow you are enabling strike through text.

You have a short period of time you can edit the post. So when you see it, edit the post, highlight the text and click the Tx icon in the upper right hand corner to delete the text formatting.

If you don't see the Tx icon there, select More Options while editing the post.
