    Hi,

Got a bald spot on my torque converter's ring gear (the tranny is a 727). The engine (a 360) loves to stop at that point. Is it possible that I could just rotate the torque converter 45 or 180 degrees from where it is on the flex plate?

I'm guessing that due to the external balance of my 360 the answer is no. Just hoping.

    Correct, the answer is no.

It's probably just easiest to replace the torque converter. Obviously not really easy, but possible.
