Wow! Start to finish, how long does it take to build a WK2 these days?
I think most vehicles take about 20 hours give or take a few hours from stamping to rolling out the door.
If only 4 have been shipped.....I am not sure we can say that Trackhawk has begun shipping. 4 is not even one truck load.... My Trackhawk is not even in D1 status yet....
is this lack of sales or what? I thought they started making it in late September?
@CDJSalesPro may be able to add his 2 cents, but our Trackhawk was a stock order not a factory order. This is a vehicle that demand vastly outweighs supply. We will all have no trouble selling our allocated Trackhawks.
Trackhawks at Jefferson North Assembly.
Number is up to a few dozen now.
It is FCA after all. They may have said September, but that could be anytime after that, clear up through August of the next year.
We have seen 0 demand for Trackhawks at my dealership oddly enough, and I know of a bunch of other dealers who are still sitting on most or all of their allocations... so I wouldn't say demand is outstripping supply. That being said, if someone is interested in ordering one, I've got allocations waiting! All at MSRP.
Well, it's not a Demon, and it's more expensive than one, iirc, with all the options checked, so it's not surprising that they're not flying off lots.. Not to mention those who want one may not be able to afford one, or may be waiting to sell their own SRT's, should they already have a "regular SRT" GC, or hellcat, etc.
Sorry but most of your assumptions are wrong. Almost 1500 trackhawks ordered in the first 10 days of the order banks opening in August. Production started I think in the first week or two in october...but just going by memory. We are tracking about 150 custom orders at jeepgarage.org alone. You can see how many have been built...over 600 and how many are still in d1. There are hundreds still in d or not scheduled or ordered outside the first aug 10-16 allocation. The trackhawks are in the same Sergio required extra QC as the demons. And sorry but the demin hasn't sold like some of you think. If so why are they still adding options to order and why are they still taking orders of a planned 3000. I too thought they would.sell out the 3000 fast but that is not the case.....imho.
It says over 600 built but the math adds up to only 358 ???Where are the rest of these "built" Jeeps
In extended Sergio mandated QC
And those are only the important numbers I posted....so your math is off because of that. Only 23 have shipped after the extended QC...so jnap is packed with trackhawks right now. Those pics that redrider posted came from my IG. Trackhawks in QC.
Here' the latest
Of the 700 built...45 have shipped and 193 are in KZ. 124 in d1 which is scheduled to be built and vin assigned. 63 currently in framing or in process of being built at 2 am this morning.
The demon has "not sold well" because dealerships asking way above msrp, crazy ADM. And when they finally land a sale if not in d1 they change it to costumers liking. A bunch of guys looking to get a demon But not with these crazy Adms. Who's taking orders? All allocations are gone. All demons are sold, to an individual or dealrship stock
Can you give a definition to KZ, d1, and framing? Oh I know what they are, but you know, for those who don't.
