Well I'm not sure what Scott was trying to convey. .but corrosion like that takes time..my srt engine looked like that years after delivery. .not days. That corrosion was there a while...so it must happened in storage. Now question is where were these engines stored.?

I said that I would reserve judgement.

How did that quality hold help with aligning decals, preventing corrosion or fuel leaks?

Maybe we did not defend the quality hold because we knew what to expect from FCA......which was not quality.

From what I'm seeing the issues are trackhawk, primarily. I didn't think they were on hold. Jury's still out on the Demon's.... I agree in the end we'll see if the quality is there in the meantime I'll applaud the fact that an effort is being made... ;)

Because there is no serious dedication to quality at FCA. From the top down, quality is a buzz-word thrown around when there are problems, but it is not a goal that is important to anyone.

Net Debt Zero is the only goal that is taken seriously by top management. Everything else seems to be negotiable.

So I got a ride in a $94k Trackhawk over the weekend...... Holy S$%T I have never ridden in anything that accelerates that brutally. Your brain barely has time to process the launch before you are hitting triple digit speeds. Amazing machine no doubt, but $94k....ouch

To be honest, I'd save the $20k and get the Durango IF I had that kind of money to blow on a toy.

Thanks to quality audits, production is not as it should, hope they will continue with those quality audits until Quality will be good

I have a huge cross section of new trackhawk owners and while there are manufacturing defects and things missed qc....there is also a lot of damage in transportation. It's really a shame. Here's the latest build totals....almost 1900 built.

A dude just posted his 400 mile trackhawk with the infamous WK2 fender flare coming off. Absolute embarrassment.

The worst item I've heard to date is a fuel line that fell off a quarter mile from the dealer...the gas was dripping all over the exhaust.
My new Trackhawk will be inspected by myself before I sign on the bottom line.
