Transcontinental Motor Convoy --- Centennial

    I've been disappointed to see no celebration of the centennial of the Transcontinental Motor Convoy. It seems to me to have contributed as much to our Interstate Highway System as the fact that Eisenhower saw the German Autobahnen. There is a lot of information about the Transcontinental Motor Convoy at the Eisenhower Library. The daily logs are actually kind of funny for anyone who had made a transcontinental automobile trip and had problems along the way. A good link to the information is this:
