Enoyed the article @Mike V. Lots of good stuff for this truck. Anxiously awaiting more info. Thanks.

I for one think the tire fill alert will be helpful as the ones on the air pumps can't be heard over a idling engine in the winter...when you are most likely to need to add air. A beep or light flash when pressure is reached will for sure be seen as helpful to the Mopar Express Lane technician also.

Sounds like one of those LifeLock commercials.
"Oh, I'm not a security guard. I'm a security monitor."
"I only notify people when there's a robbery."
    "There's a robbery."

I think they already have the crash alerts but I'm not sure. Tire fill is a nice idea.

I thought that the Pacifica is the only Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram vehicle with a 360° camera system? The system in the Charger just uses the rear camera and rear sensors, or am I mistaken?

I think Nissan or someone tried that tire fill alert idea in the past. Not sure if they still use it. I have mixed feelings about it.

Nissan still uses it. GM is adding it and Ford may be using it on some products.

I like the tire fill idea. Not a lot else getting me excited however. Whats going to really separate Ram from the others ?

^^^ Agreed - while the tech is nice - they are just playing catch-up. Nissan has had 360 cameras for close to a decade now (and they have always worked great)

IDk, when Nissan came out with it, i saw it as more of a gimmick because you could still see out of them. This was before insane D-pillars were a thing. On something as large as a full size truck, I can see the need for it. A lot of people have no idea how large or small their vehicles are when pulling out of or into a parking space. I've seen it a thousand times, driver (regardless of age) does a five point turn because they think their yaris is the size of a crown vic or something.

Tire fill alert has been on some GM products sonce 2011 (at least). Glad to finally see it across other applications.

With all the electronics and luxury features the new RAM should set the bar high. I hope it's a clean launch.

    Sidebar comment:
Has anyone noticed in one of the latest Ram commercials where they are driving a WWII vet to an airplane hangar where they finished restoring a WWII fighter plane.
Wonder how many people know that the plane was a Hellcat ? Very clever, Dodge.

The Bird's Eye view is a life-saver when it comes to parking, regardless of size IMO, especially for parallel parking. I had it on my old Infiniti and is one of two features I really miss. (The other was the headlights the turn with the steering wheel - sounds gimmicky until you have it and then don't have it )

I had always wanted to try something with those headlights but alas, never got the opportunity. Problem with that is cost (R&D + replacement when necessary), I think.

Haha i confess to that. after driving my KL for weeks on holidays jumping back in my 2500 lifted 4x4 Crew 8' box had me maneuvering with way less confidence than before. Especially in urban lots with undersized parking slots. Ha, then add my wrecking ball of a hitch if still on after pulling the big trailer. Very regularly get bad looks for sticking to far out, even though rear wheels are sitting on the rear line.
