What’s in this Challenger powertrain mule? Is it a next-generation Hemi? An upgraded Hellcat?

Real Fast Fotography told us this that it has a six-cylinder under the hood, but that leaves the question — which six-cylinder? There are two we know to be coming up fast.

Could this be the direct-injected Pentastar Upgrade we’ve been talking about for (literally) years, or a GME T6 — the new turbo-six using the GME combustion chambers and architecture — being tested in a Challenger, under our very noses? Or is it something else altogether?

    Tell us what you think.
