    And people worry about hi-po 4s from FCA being unreliable.....

    I would not blame head gasket. I would blame combination of price point and design choices. Open deck and relatively small price. Hmh.

    Exactly my point. One wrong decision can really hurt when it comes to a vehicle that has a lot of impact.

    I'm not a fan of open deck designs esp with alu engine blocks. We had the same thing on our '98 Subaru Outback 2.5, which blew the head gaskets at 109,000 miles and then again at 186,000 miles. They supposedly revised the head gaskets on these models 5 times!
